Lads Night Out
We all need a Lads Night Out every now and then - So let’s do something different for a change?
This really is a night out with a difference - no extortionate Night Clubs, no Minesweeping and certainly no queues for a Taxi! Instead…. loads of real adventure, loads of fun and some great war-stories to tell your mates!
Lads Night Out is an outdoor event in a large forest in Wales. Your Instructors (all ex-British Soldiers) get the experience under way with a 'Tactical' Night Exercise. The scenario involves you and your Team navigating your way to an Agent whilst avoiding capture from the Enemy. To make matters worse - the Enemy have vehicles, and you do not! To succeed you have to work as a team, stay alert and take cover the moment you see headlights! It's a truly exhilarating experience, developed from British Army training methods, and it's loads of fun!! (unless you get caught!)
When it's over (around Midnight) we get all get together for beers back at Base Camp - War Stories abound as there are always plenty of ‘close shaves’ to share with your mates!
After a good night's sleep, a light breakfast will be laid on, which will fortify you for the morning's activities of Abseiling, an Orienteering Competition and the hilarious Raft Race finale! Then we all get together again for the 'Full Monty' Brunch before setting off for home.
Taking part on Lads Night Out requires a basic level of health and fitness, a sense of adventure and the ability to work in a Team. The age range we accept is 18 - 55.
Lads Night Out Programme:
Day 1
- 19.00 Group arrives at RV
- 19.30 Evening Meal
- 20.00 Safety Briefing / Kit Issue
- 20.30 Preparation for Tactical Night Exercise
- 21.30 Tactical Night Exercise
- 23.30 Return to Accommodation – FREE BEER!
Day 2
- 07.30 Light Breakfast
- 08.00 Orienteering / Abseil / Raft Race
- 10.30 'Full Monty' Brunch
- 11.00 Group departs
Price £148 per person (min. 12 / max. 24)
Price includes all Meals / Drinks, Accommodation, Safety Equipment (inc. waterproofs) and Professional Instruction.
Participants should arrive dressed for the outdoors, bringing a Washing Kit (inc. towel), Change of Clothing (inc. footwear) and a Sleeping Bag.
